Joseph’s Courage Dec. 20, 2020
Matt 1: 18-25 - “Do not be afraid to take Mary as your wife”. Sometimes we have to take a risk as we step out to realize our dreams. We will reflect on Joseph’s courage to take action on what God was calling him to do, reminding us that both the yin (Mary) and the yang (Joseph) were important in fulfilling God’s plan.
The Magnificat and Mary and Elizabeth: “Blessed is she who believed.” Dec. 13, 2020
Luke 1: 39-45 – The Magnificat and Mary and Elizabeth: “Blessed is she who believed.” Sometimes it takes courage and vision to believe in a dream before it actually happens. As we continue to envision the world we want to create, how can we be inspired by the courage of Mary and Elizabeth, remembering that we are not alone but live in sacred partnerships that help us manifest our dreams? We will also reflect on God’s desire for a world of peace and justice that is reflected in the Magnificat, Mary’s song of celebration.
