Artful Worship, Joyful Service

FCC.FFP.jpg

We are NOT a typical church and we’re proud of it!

We are made up of young and not-so-young, gay and not gay, all different levels of education, married, single, divorced, widowed people. We come from a variety of church backgrounds, or no church background.

We are Progressive Christian, Spiritual Not Religious, Non Dual, Buddhist, atheist, agnostic, Interfaith, and more. We are open and inclusive. We celebrate diversity. We are genuinely, experientially spiritual and invite you to come see whether you resonate with the loving, creative band of embodied mystics and spiritual adventurers that we are.

Spirit Moves: Embodied Spirituality

Spirit Moves supports a deep connection with self and spirit through the arts. The group incorporates meditative, expressive, spontaneous closed-eye movement, drawing, writing/poetry, and sharing in circle. Kacey Carmichael, MA, MEd, trained as an expressive arts therapist specializing in dance/movement therapy, facilitates Spirit Moves. Kacey empowers a mutually supportive, creative, sacred space for non-judgmental exploration and connecting with Spirit within and all around. Spirit Moves is a ministry of our church, offered free to church and community members. Meets in the sanctuary.

every Wednesday morning,10:30 am - 12:30 pm. Contact Kacey at amrita@post.harvard.edu or 707-495-4627 (mobile).

Fairfax Food Pantry

The Food Pantry is serving hundreds of people each week - the numbers just keep growing.  This continues to be a community effort with volunteers from FCC and other Fairfax organizations.  If you haven't stopped in on a Saturday morning, please do - it's a heart-warming experience. The Sanctuary is open for quiet meditation most Saturdays.
