A Harvest of Blessing. We will celebrate our own Thanksgiving Sunday as we celebrate the blessings of FCC church, and all our prayers of gratitude. We will also dedicate our pledges of heart, time, treasure and talent.

Indigenous Wisdom: Aswecontinuetohonortheancestorsinthisseason,whatdo indigenous elders have to teach us in this time? We will watch a short inspirational video with Stan Rushworth (professor of Native American studies and elder of Cherokee descent) and reflect on returning to the heart of the phrase, “Aho Mitakuye Oyasin” Lakota for “to all my relations”, which honors our kinship with the animals, plants, rocks and rivers, as well as other human beings.
